In case you are wondering if you can do UPI transactions without internet, then I have good news for you. You can use offline UPI for sending money. NPCI has introduced UPI123 Pay service for general users who are not having internet connection, to do UPI payments seamlessly. Here’s how to do it.
UPI123Pay IVR Service:
Call any of the numbers listed here: 080 4516 3666 OR 080 4516 3581 OR 6366 200 200.
Then follow the instructions from IVR. Here’s the process flow:
Old Method: USSD Service:
Dial *99# and follow the on-screen instructions.
Currently, the following financial and non-financial services are supported:
- Sending Money using Mobile No
- Sending Money using UPI ID
- Sending Money using Account No. + IFSC
- Requesting Money using UPI ID / Mobile No.
- Account Balance
- Set UPI PIN
- Change UPI PIN
- Last 5 transactions
