Most of the people are familiar with complimentary airport lounge access but only a few people have tried complimentary railway lounge access. Yesterday I got a chance to try complimentary lounge access with IDFC first credit card at Ahmedabad. Got 2 hrs access at a lounge with free hot beverages & meal (breakfast, lunch, or dinner meal as per the timings) At first they were not sure if I can get railway lounge access with IDFC cc as it was the first time for them that someone is trying this card but after I showed them the benefits of card they tried & Rs.2 were deducted and I got lounge access.
Complimentary railway lounge access with IDFC cc is available at 6 executive lounges in India: Ahmedabad, Agra, Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata & Madurai.
